The object of the exhibition, on the fifth anniversary of the birth of Vasari, is the foudation of Uffizi. Much more than a building an architectonic system on a urban scale, result of a narrow contribution from Duke, Cosimo I De’ Medici and Vasari, artist beloved by the Duke.

Celebrations organized by the Ministry of National Heritage and Culture and the Ministry of Foreign offairs together with the corrisponding Russian istitutions.
MEDICEO MONTH-IX Edition
Thursday, June 9th, 2011Ninth edition of the annual event with theater review “Mediceo Month”, meeting with the events and the history of De’ Medici’s family. This edition opens with a very funny show, in the smaller squares of the historic city center, “Mondi in Minore” a traveling show, a historical walk.
