After the collapse of the stage in Toronto that has caused the death of a technician, the band decided to pospone the Italian tour.
Four dates in Italy to follow a real music legend!!
Radiohead will come to Florence with a great gig in the heart of “Cascine Park”.
When is the concert? On July 1st 2012!!
Four years after the overwhelming success of their last concert in Milan, Radiohead have chosen Italy as the first step of their European tour and they decided to begin four concerts in some of the most beautiful cities of Italy.
The European tour will start on saturday 30th June at “Ippodromo delle Capanelle” in Rome for the “Postepay Rock in Roma festival”, while, the day after, the band will play at “Parco delle Cascine” in Florence, one of the most beautiful parks in Italy. On Tuesday 3rd July the band will play at “Piazza Maggiore” in Bologna. The Italian tour will end on Wednesday 4th July at the “Residenza dell’ultimo Doge” in Venice, and “Villa Manin” in Codroipo (Udine).
Radiohead are an English rock band from Abingdon, Oxfordshire, formed in 1985 and they are considered one of the most interesting talents in the contemporary music scene. The U.S. magazine Rolling Stone has incorporated them in 73th place in the list of 100 greatest bands of all time.
Radiohead has reached success in 1997 with the release of “Ok Computer”. Become world real music legend, also they surprised their fans wich the relase of two short albums: Kid A (2000) and Amnesiac (2001).
“In Rainbows” was the 7th studio album by the English rock band Radiohead as a digital download and with the innovative “pay-as-you-like formula self-released” on 10 October 2007.
Their last studio album was “The King of Limbs” released on February 2011.
