From 22nd to 27th May 2012 Florece will host the third edition of Design Week, under the High Patronage of the Ministry of Heritage and Culture, in collaboration with the London Design Festival.
Florence Design Week is an event dedicated to Italian design in all its forms, as a means of communication and the promotion of culture and local identity.
It is an appointment that experts of the sector, professionals, entrepreneurs, companies, teachers, students, italian and foreigner creative artists cannot miss!!
The passion for design and art will lead visitors at the discovering of the five senses, through an emotional track in which the design will merge itself with the historic beauty of Florence. The festival will involve squares, art galleries, libraries and historic houses decorated with the works made by the new generation of designers and companies.
The general theme of the event is CONNECTING TIME: with reference to the connection between past and future, digital language and materialism, but also the connection between different languages of creative and entrepreneurial world, where the comparision of these may lead to practical solutions to survive the current international crisis.
