The first exhibition that is dedicated to Giovanfrancesco Rustici, a sculptor born in 1475 in Florence, formed in the famous Garden of San Marco under the patronage of Lorenzo the Magnificent, the inheritor of the lesson workshops of Andrea del Verrocchio and Benedetto da Maiano.
Focal point of the exhibition is the masterpiece of the Cottage, of the Baptist Preaching, sculptural group of three magnificent bronze figures in the design and implementation participated in Leonardo da Vinci and was raised above the North Gate of the Baptistery in Florence in 1511.
