On July 13 at Boboli garden and on July 23 at San Galgano Abbey you can assist to the famous scenic cantata CARMINA BURANA.
Composed by Carl Orff in 1937, this is music of the twentieth century, supported in part modified on medieval texts and looking for a sound reminiscent of medieval times. Orff, recreates with his extraordinary colourfull language, the sense of divine extasy which is behind the texts. The effect is amazing and additive.
