From March 24th to March 28th 2010 the entertainment company will play “Saltimbanco” at Nelson Mandela Forum.
“Saltimbanco” comes from the italian words “saltare in banco” literally “to jump on a bench” and it refers to a personage of the past, the funambulist that during the village fetes showed his ability through stunts that he made on the street rigoruosly….
……just on the street the Cirque du Soleil takes inspiration for this show, they take it from metropolitan streets crowded by people, from frenetic life of citizens, from the skyscapers, perfoming an allegorical show rich of acrobatics that leads the public in a fantastic wolrd.
