A unic and unmissable appointement for art lovers at Palazzo Strozzi in Florence: the
show De Chirico, Max Ernst, Magritte, Balthus – Uno sguardo nell’invisibile (A look into the invisible) will be open untill July 18, 2010.
Through the exposition of 100 operas, the show proposes to underline the ‘contagious’ effect that had the De Chirico painting for all those artists who embraced the metaphysical style (Carlo Carrà, Giorgio Morandi), but also for all those artistic movements that were born in those years, resulting from the revolutionary style of De Chirico: Arutro Nathan, Pierre Roy and Alberto Savinio were artists that lived among Metaphysics, Magic Realism, Surrealism and Neo-Romanticism.
