Opened in December 2008, the Benedicta restaurant welcomes you from the heart of Florence in the Santa Maria Novella district. It has a choice of refined dishes some of which include Florentine traditional recipes that have been appropriately revisited.
The proposed cuisine is a result of the long experience of Mr Luciano Ioppoli, manager of the restaurant, who together with his son Francesco and the chef, personally studies each single dish with attention mixing personal tastes with flavours, for the pleasure of the more demanding and curious palate.
The menu is frequently changed and varied according to the season, along with a selected wine list and paying attention to the final bill where you will be pleasantly surprised.
The atmosphere at the Benedicta Restaurant is the result of great knowledge and careful use of restoration using modern techniques on internal spaces of this pre-existing structure and its old Florentine style cross vaulted ceilings, inserting new architectural elements, giving life to a very original locality with its own real beautiful character.
The colours chosen for the internal coverings and furnishings have been based on whites and soft tones of grey, and are aimed at enhancing this particular interpretation of modern and contemporary ideas to the original structure. Soft lighting effects applied to the walls are iridescent in a dynamic way on the vaults, the white veils on the ceilings, the fountain which plays with water and light gives the Benedicta restaurant brightness, originality and elegance, confirming a particularly decisive and distinguishable character.
The garden full of flowers, elegant but also reserved, offers a pleasant oasis of peace where you can have an aperitif or complete dinner. Car parking in the centre of the city is not a problem: the nearby Excelsior garage is a your disposal and you can leave your car here for 2 ½ hours free.
